ABIDING: EXTRAVAGANT TIME WITH JESUS

John 15:4-5, 16

It's interesting how Dick Brogden's statement is resonating in my heart right now.  He said, "I am not the gospel.  You are not the gospel.  What you and I do is not the gospel.  The gospel applies to all men everywhere, across all ages and cultures.  The gospel is what God has done, is doing, and will do in Christ... If we are to be faithful in proclaiming Christ, we must know him intimately." Live-Dead Journal, DAY 1, pg 14

I literally asked my friends today to join me in the Live-Dead 30 day challenge.  To set aside time each day... no, to set aside 2.5 hours every day.  At first glance the thought of carving out that kind of time for even the bravest of souls seems almost absurd.  However, the thought of actually giving God this kind of time has me day dreaming of the "what if's?

To all those desperate to know Him (Jesus) intimately, to live your life in such a way that proclaims Christ... begin with abiding... extravagantly... join me in the 30 Day Challenge.
